Deputy Chief Constable Stewart E. Grant

Mr. Stewart E. Grant, a native of Alyth, Perthshire, was eleven years Deputy Chief Constable and Superintendent in Banffshire Constabulary until he retired in 1936. John Duncan, Newburgh, joined the Banffshire Constabulary in 1924. He served subsequently at Keith, Macduff, newmill, Knock, Portgordon, Glenlivet and Cornhill, where he was stationed when he retired in 1953 after nearly 30 years service.
