South Devon Railway Police
1848 - 1876The South Devon Railway Company built and operated a railway from Exeter to Plymouth in Devon, England, between 1846 and 1876. Several officers were discharged in 1849 of which twelve were selected by the Chief Constable of Northamptonshire Police to join that force 30 October 1849.
